https://www.amberlotus.com/artist-submissions/
They do accept writing submissions for greeting cards. Short and clever is what they desire. Something light and catchy, not too serious please. You may email a sample of 3 to 5 sentiments or greetings with or without image concepts to submissions@amberlotus.com. They will respond to those that we find to be appropriate for our various lines.

Just to clear up some confusion I have seen about Hallmark – their website states the following

Hallmark does not accept or purchase unsolicited submissions of ideas, artwork, photography, or writing for our greeting card or Gift Books lines.

So they are not an option but i have seen this mentioned on other make money sites.

I have also omitted some of the print on demand services which I believe may offer a greeting card service, you can still use one of these such as Cafepress, Zazzle to name two if you desire but the payout will be lower unless you can come up with some kickass designs

Tips

Make sure you follow the guidelines correctly for what the company are after. If its adult humor then that is what they are looking for.

Try and be unique.

Write as often as possible. The best way to get better at something is simply to practice, practice, practice.

Keep a notepad near you to jot down ideas for rhymes, verses and phrases whenever they spring to mind. You can get inspiration at any moment and in any place.

Become familiar with holidays, cultures and traditions – often countries other than where you live may have many significant days they celebrate. Don’t miss out on these opportunities.
